Currently a resident of Northern California, Betty has also lived in Alaska and visits there often as a photo tour leader. She has also led tours to Ecuador, including the Galapagos. She has been publishing her work for decades in books and magazines and since 1989 has been a part-time photography professor at Folsom Lake College near Sacramento.
