Raindrops on Skunk Cabbage, Alaska
The rainforest of Southeast Alaska gets about 150 inches of rain a year. Here raindrops alight on skunk cabbage leaves on Admiralty Island.

This was taken on a wilderness hike on Admiralty Island, Alaska. All the while, we were on lookout for brown bears, prolific on this island. I saw this beautiful composition, but our guide fidgeted the whole time, on the lookout for bears. There was bear sign all around us, a bit unnerving, but beauty calls!
